Can I swim with the jewelry?
Yes you can, except for the fin earrings.
Our products are made of surgical steel and will not change colors due to (ocean) water.The fin earrings are strong and will hold some water, but we do not recommend to go for a swim with them.

Will the jewelry change colors?
The material we use for our Lionfish jewelry are of the highest quality and will not change color. Overtime the ropes might change color or the fish fins itself. The fins are a natural product and could change their color due to UV-light overtime. But they will always keep their magical touch!

Are the spines not venemous anymore?
Most of our jewelry is made of the fins and not of the spines, so harmless. Also, the venom of the Lionfish are based on a protein and when itโs heated or dried the venom deactivates and harmless too.

Where is the jewelry made?
The jewelry is made in the Lionfish Caribbean Jewelry studio in Curacao. The fish are harvested by many different divers, the fish is served in Lionfish Caribbeanยดs own restaurant Lionfish&Mangoes and then the jewelry is made. When in Curacao, feel free to come and visit to learn about the process of how we make the Lionfish jewelry.

Do you also have gold colored jewelry?
Yes, we have stainless steel gold colored jewelry. Not all our products are available in gold colored, but we have a wide range of products in different colors.

Us too!
We work with the highest quality hypo-allergenic materials, so there is no nickel in our products. -
I have my own fins, can you make jewelry?
If you are in Curacao, than yes.
How cool is that: jewelry made of your own caught Lionfish. Just bring your fins by our jewelry studio and let us know what you want us to make of it. It will take us 4 days and you just pay a small fee (USD25) for us to work on your special order and eventually you buy the products you like. The ones you do not want to take home, no charge and weโll keep them. -
I want to learn how to make LF jewelry
We do not give workshops in making your own Lionfish jewelry. We do teach hunting and cleaning Lionfish in our online courses that are almost ready to be launched, so keep an eye on our socials.
