Eat Lionfish

Lionfish are a great substitue for many other (overfished) reef fish. They have a mild, delicate flavor, between cod and lobster.
They are also known for being low in mercury and a good source of Omega-3 fatty acids.
Choosing lionfish supports conservation efforts and promotes a healthier marine ecosystem while offering a unique and delicious culinair experience. It's a win-win for both your palate and the planet.

Where to eat

Finding lionfish to eat is a challenge worldwide, as it's often a 'catch of the day' due to the labor-intensive process of catching and cleaning the Lionfish. And it's a great challenge to maintain the consistency to include it on the menu.

However, at Lionfish Caribbean, we have it available all week thanks to our incredible Lionfish community. You can find Lionfish Caribbean in the charming Kura Hulanda Village, a beautifully renovated area in the old part of town in Curacao. It is within walking distance from the cruise terminal and floating bridge.
